About me

About me

Life is change – over and over again. Not every change is desirable. But so far, every change has enriched my life in one way or another. Even those that were anything but pleasant. And there have been many of those in my life. From death to job loss, from illness to a big move to trivial things like a broken finger.

Thanks to my mother’s very early death, I have always been very concerned with this topic. My father showed me a completely different side: the fearless one. He died so peacefully, so clear and full of love – it was a gift. And as much as it still hurts that I can’t just call or see her, death is something very special. It is intense and gives us a lot. It needs time and space. It is an important and even beautiful part of life. I also learned this in Tibetan Buddhism – the knowledge in Tibetan Buddhism about dying, death and rebirth is enormous. Under Links, you will find an interview with Tulku Lobsang on this topic, which almost makes you want to die, as someone once said to me).

A difficult moment in my life led me to Tibetan Buddhism almost 20 years ago. At that time – about four years after I had discovered the Tibetan healing yoga Lu Jong – I met Tulku Lobsang and soon did my first retreat with him. The theme was Tummo, the inner fire. It changed my life. I had finally found what I had been searching for for so long. At last, I began to find answers to so many questions I had always asked myself.

You see what you think, says my teacher Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche. And also: we forget to see what is good. Thanks to losing my job, for example, I trained as a systemic coach. And thus connected the Far East with the West. A gift.

Or moving to Barcelona. A thousand things have happened to me here, a thousand emotions I didn’t expect. But above all, I have been welcomed here so lovingly that (after initially going back and forth and starting all over again) for the first time in my life, I feel like I am truly at home. A huge gift.

One of the greatest gifts on this journey is being able to translate Tulku Lobsang’s words. It is indescribable, very special. Not only because I learn so much every time, but also because it is like a hug, a hug of wisdom, love and presence.

I am very happy to be able to pass on my knowledge. To accompany you in your process, to help you find more happiness, laughter, health and contentment. And to be able to walk a few steps with you in your transformation.

I look forward to seeing you!

I was born in Munich in 1966.

My parents were unique, like all parents. And wonderful.

My mother committed suicide when I was six – my father was there for me.

First trips (without parents) to Italy at 17. Thanks to many friends, I also learned Italian along the way.

Journalism: It was clear: I wanted to write about the world, about politics, about people. I succeeded, working at the Süddeutsche Zeitung and later at the Abendzeitung. In 2003, I realised that I was no longer satisfied. A year later, I had the strength to quit.

I discovered Lu Jong in 2004, thanks to Nelly Porschet.

In addition to working in the field of language (one of my great passions), I began organising events and festivals such as the Munich Theatron MusikSommer. I still enjoy doing that too.

In 2007, I met Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche – and found what I had been searching for for a long time: spirituality with grounding, profound methods and answers to many of my questions.

Since 2009, I have been training with Tulku Lobsang to become a teacher and trainer in Tibetan healing yoga Lu Jong, Tibetan Five Elements practices, mindfulness, Tog Chöd (sword), participating in retreats on Buddhist psychology, Tummo (inner fire), Tibetan medicine, Rigpa, Mother and Father Tantra, initiation into Vajravarahi and much more.

Since 2011, translations of lectures, retreats, training courses, an initiation (Vajravarahi) and seminars by Tulku Lobsang into German. Online translation of H.H. Kyapgon Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche (initiations into Vajravarahi, Chakrasamvara, Medicine Buddha, Avalokiteshavara, as well as teachings on Mahamudra – The True Nature of Mind, Compassion).

2013 to 2020 Head of the Nangten Menlang Germany association, organisation of Rinpoche’s events in Germany.

2021 to 2023: Employment with Rinpoche’s association Nangten Menlang International in Vienna.2021 bis 2023 Anstellung bei Rinpoches Verein Nangten Menlang International in Wien.

2024: Training as a systemic (business) coach, trainer and facilitator.

I have been living in Barcelona since the end of 2024. Every day, I discover more of my inner space, my inner home.
